    How to make Aloo Ki Sukhi Sabzi ?

    Ingredients

    My secrets

    • 2 tbs oil.
    • 3 boiled potatoes – cut in cubes.
    • 1 tsp Rai ke daane (Mustard seeds).
    • 1/2 tsp Jeera (Cumin seeds).
    • 1/2 tsp Hing powder (Asafoetoda).
    • Few green fresh curry leaves.
    • 2 chopped green chillies.
    • 1 tsp Haldi powder (Turmeric powder)
    • 1/2 tsp sugar.
    • Salt per taste
    • 1/2 freshly .squeezed lemon juice.
    • Chopped coriander leaves.

    Methods

    How to Make?

    • In a pan take 2 tbs oil.
    • Keep boiled potatoes (aloo) ready and cut in cubes.
    • Add 1 tsp Rai (Mustard seeds) and wait for the crackling sound
      and then add 1/2 tsp Jeera (Cumin seeds).
    • Now add 1/2 tsp asafoetida (Hing powder).
    • Adding asafoetida helps digestion as potatoes can be a bit heavy to digest sometimes.
    • Add few curry leaves.
    • We are not going to add onion or garlic.
    • Add chopped green chillies.
    • Add 1 tsp turmeric powder (haldi).
    • Mix it well.
    • Time to add potato cubes.
    • Add some salt per taste.
    • Add 1/2 tsp sugar
    • Add 1/2  lemon juice.
    • Mix well.
    • Cover with lead and let it cook for 5-10 minutes on slow flame.
    • We want potatoes to absorb all the flavors.
    • So that’s it aloo sabjee is ready.
    • Sprinkle some freshly chopped coriander leaves.
    • Finally, mix and serve it with Puri or Roti or Bread.
