  1. Method

    • Heat 1.5 cup Water in a deep base pan
    • Add Salt to taste (optional)
    • Turn off the heat
    • Now add 1.5 cup Pearl Millet Flour (Bajre ka Atta)
    • Cover with a lid and leave for 5 min
    • After 5 min mix flour well with water
    • Transfer cooked flour to the mixing bowl
    • When slightly cooled start kneading the dough
    • Roll out few balls from the dough prepared
    • (Keep remaining dough aside and knead it again before making next batch of rotis)
    • Take a dough ball and dust some dry flour on kitchen platform
    • Flatten with the help of rolling pin
    • (Roti should be thicker than Gehu ki roti)
    • Place roti on hot pan
    • Cook for 5 min each side on medium to high heat
    • Flip roti and apply pressure on it using a napkin
    • Roti will slightly puff
    • Roast well from both sides
    • Remove from pan and apply Ghee on it
    • (Make more rotis with the same procedure)
