I grew up eating this every Winter. So flavorful, rich in texture & taste that stays with you all day. Enjoy Gur Ke Chawal.. or should I say Mithi Bhaat.

Method
- Soak 1 cup Rice in water
- Heat Water in a pan
- Add soaked rice
- Add 3 Cloves (Laung)
- Add 1 Cinnamon Stick (Dalchini)
- Add 2 Bay Leaves (Tej Patta)
- Add few Black Peppers (Kali Mirch)
- Add 2 Cardamom (Elaichi)
- Let the rice partially cook & then drain it
- Heat another pan to melt Gur
- Add 3/4 cup Jaggery (Gur)
- Add 2 tbs Water
- Cook until Gur melts
- Transfer melted Gur in a bowl
- Heat 1 big spoon Ghee in the same pan
- Add 1 tbs Cashews
- Add 1 tbs Almonds
- Add 1 tbs Pistachios
- Roast until light golden
- Transfer roasted nuts in a bowl
- Keep the flame high
- Add cooked rice
- Add melted Gur
- Add a pinch of Fennel Seeds Powder (Saunf)
- Add 3-4 Cloves Powder
- Gently mix rice
- When rice absorbs melted Gur, add roasted nuts
- Add a pinch of Salt and mix it
- Turn off the heat when Gur is nicely absorbed
