Gujarati Tikha Pudla Recipe

Time for some mother – daughter fun in kitchen, as Kangna attempts to make a few ingredients Gujarati Tikha Pudla for me. And yes, I loved her not-so-round Pudla, though she didn’t let me have it all. 🙂

How to make Gujarati Tikha Pudla Recipe?

Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat flour (gehu ka atta).
  • Approx 1.5 cup water.
  • Some finely chopped veggies (coriander, tomatoes and spring onion or as per your choice).
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder.
  • Some turmeric powder (haldi).
  • Some red chilli powder (as per taste).
  • Some ajwain (crushed with hands).
  • Salt as per taste.
  • Oil (for roasting).

Method

How to make?

  • Take a mixing bowl, add 1 cup wheat flour (gehu ka atta).
  • Add approx 1.5 cup water gradually and stir well
    (add water as required).
  • Add some finely chopped veggies (coriander, tomatoes and spring onion or as per your choice).
  • Add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder.
  • Add some turmeric powder (haldi).
  • Add some red chilli powder (as per taste)
    (add spices as per your choice).
  • Add some ajwain (crushed with hands).
  • Add salt as per taste and mix it well.
  • Now heat up the pan, brush some oil on it.
  • Add batter and spread it.
  • Drizzle some oil when its colour gets darker.
  • Flip when it turns golden-brown and cook other side too
    (Make more pudlas following the same procedure).
  • Take them on a serving plate with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
  • Enjoy your Yummilicious Pudla warm!!!
