Kanda Poha Recipe

Ingredients

2 spoon oil
1 tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai)
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
1 tbs Peanuts (Sing dana)
1.1/2 cup Poha soaked in water
1/2 onion chopped
Salt
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder (Haldi)
2 Green chilies finely chopped
Curry leaves (Kadhi patta)
1/2 tomato - Cut in cubes - This is optional
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/2 Lemon
Coriander leaves
Pomegranate

Method

Heat up the pan
Add 2 spoon oil
Add 1 tsp mustard seeds (Rai)
Add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
Let it cook till you hear crackling sound
Add 1 tbs Peanuts
Let it cook for a while
Keep 1.5 cup soaked Poha ready
Add chopped half onion
Add salt per taste
Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Add 2 finely chopped green chilies
Add a few curry leaves
Add 1/2 tomato  (Optional)
Mix well
Now add 1/2 tsp sugar
Mix everything well
Now add soaked poha
Squeeze fresh lemon juice
Mix everything well
Add coriander leaves
Poha is ready
Plate it in a serving bowl
Garnish Poha with more coriander leaves and pomegranate
