Learn to make 2 types of paneer. So I know many of you have been looking for some quick bites – we call it ‘chakhna’ in Mumbai to go with any kind of drinks. I thought this masala paneer along with grapes and mint leaves is a flavour and texture bomb in the mouth.

Preparation Method of Paneer & Masala Paneer


My secret

  • 1 ltr full flat milk.
  • 1 lemon juice mixed with few drops of oil.
  • Chili powder.
  • Coriander Leaves.
  • Crushed roasted cumin seed powder.
  • Salt.
  • Water.
  • Mint Leave and Grapes to eat with paneer.


How to make?

  • Take 1 ltr full-fat milk.
  • Bring it to one boil.
  • Now turn off the heat.
  • Add 1 lemon juice mixed with few drops of water gradually.
  • Now turn off the heat.
  • You will see milk cuddling.
  • Now add Chilli powder, Coriander leaves, crushed roasted cumin seed powder and salt.
  • Mix well.
  • Now in a bowl take a cloth and strain the water.
  • Add some plain water to remove the sourness of lemon.
  • Tie it nicely and leave it under some weight for a few hours.
  • Then put it in the fridge for some time to set.
  • Paneer will be ready.
  • Cut into cubes.
  • Take a toothpick and enjoy with grapes and mint leaves.

  • However it is a simple process but making paneer is a lengthy process.
  • The ingredients used in the recipe are easily available at home. 
  • To get the same taste as Chef Meghna cooked you should have to follow the steps tutorial.
  • The Paneer water should not be wasted in the sink. Because this water is healthy and you can use it in other sabji or gravy or curry.
