Microwave Eggless Cake I 5 minute Microwave Chocolate Cake I Valentine’s Cake I Chocolate Ganache

Five minutes is all you need to create this beautiful soft eggless chocolate cake. And Chocolate Ganache and berries on top will create beautiful texture in mouth. The texture of this microwave cake is little different than regularly baked cake in OTG; but in terms of taste it is simply delicious.

  • 2 teaspoons Plain Flour (Maida)
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Instant Coffee Powder
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder (unsweetened)
  • 3/4 cups Castor Sugar (alternatively powdered sugar can be used)
  • 1/2 cup Oil (odourless)
  • 2 cups Warm Water
  • 200 grams Dark Chocolate (melted)
  • 100 grams Fresh Cream (at room temperature)
  • 14 Strawberries
  • 10 Blueberries
  1. Method
    • Take a mixing bowl for dry ingredients
    • Add 2 cup Plain Flour (Maida)
    • Add 2 tsp Baking Powder
    • Add 1 tsp Instant Coffee Powder
    • Add 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder and mix it 
    • Take another mixing bowl for wet ingredients
    • Add 3/4 cup Castor Sugar 
    • Add 1/2 cup Oil (odourless) and mix it well
    • Now strain and add dry ingredients gradually into wet ingredients
    • Whisk well to avoid getting lumps
    • Take a microwave safe plate / tray 
    • Grease with oil and place a parchment paper in it
    • Bake for 5 min in Microwave
    • Rest the cake for 10 min
    • Further melt 200 gm Dark Chocolate
    • Mix 100 gm Fresh Cream with melted chocolate to make ganache
    • Demould the cake into the plate
    • Pour ganache in a piping bag
    • Spread it on the cake by making circular design
    • Decorate the cake with Strawberries & Blueberries
    • Top with a Mint Leave
