How to make Rava Idli Fingers ?


My Secrets

  • 1 cup MTR Rava idli mix.
  • 1.5 cup curd (dahi).
  • Finely chopped coriander (dhaniya).
  • Finely chopped onion.
  • Finely chopped spring onion leaves.
  • Finely chopped green chillies (as per taste).
  • Finely chopped french beans.
  • Finely chopped carrot (gajar).
  • Finely chopped cabbage (patta gobi).
  • Finely chopped capsicum (Simla mirch). (All veggies measurement should be approx. 1 cup).
  • Oil (for tadka).


How to make?

  • Take a mixing bowl, add 1 cup MTR Rava idli mix.
  • Add 1/2 cup sour curd (khatta dahi), leave for a minute.
  • Add finely chopped coriander (dhaniya).
  • Add finely chopped onion.
  • Add finely chopped spring onion leaves.
  • Add finely chopped green chillies (as per taste).
  • Add finely chopped french beans.
  • Add finely chopped carrot (gajar).
  • Add finely chopped cabbage (patta gobi).
  • Add finely chopped capsicum (Simla mirch) & mix it.
    (All veggies measurement should be approx. 1 cup).
  • Add salt as per taste.
  • Add 1 cup sour curd (khatta dahi) and mix it well.
  • Take a baking tray greased with oil.
  • Pour batter in it.
  • Keep this tray in preheated steamer along with water and stand in it.
  • Cover the lid and cook for 12 mins.
  • Rest it for a while, then cut it into pieces/ fingers.
  • Further heat up the pan, pour some oil.
  • Place fingers in it.
  • Roast until it turns golden-brown from both sides.
  • Take it on a serving plate & serve warm with dhaniya-pudina chutney/ MTR Chutney Powder.
  • And then your Super Delicious, Crispy MTR Rava Idli Fingers is ready!!!
