    No Fry Cheese Balls | Potato Cheese Balls

    Yes cheese balls have cheese; and that we are not going to take away; because why else would we call it cheese balls. But, we certainly can avoid frying. So here I’m sharing my version of non-fried cheese balls. Appam Patra really helps; it’s a good to have at home.

    Cooking Process No Fry Cheese Balls | Potato Cheese Balls

    Ingredients

    • 4 par-boiled potatoes grated
      finely chopped – chillies, garlic, coriander leaves, green onion.
    • Whites.
    • Salt.
    • Chilli flakes
    • Corn flour
    • 3/4th cup bread crumbs or more depending upon your mixture.
    • oil.

    Method

    How to make?

    • Par-boil & grate 4 potatoes.
    • Keep them in a fridge for some time so at the time of binding you will need less of binding agent.
    • Now take out from fridge and add some salt per taste.
    • Add finely chopped garlic, coriander, whites of green onions and green chillies.
    • Add 1/4th cup crushed bread crumbs.
    • Add some chili flakes.
    • Mix well and make small roundels.
    • Now take mozarella cheese and shred it.
    • Make very small roundels that can fit inside potato balls.
    • Now stuff cheese balls inside potato balls by flattening potato balls and placing cheese balls in between and closing it.
    • Make sure there are no cracks.
    • Now take some bread crumbs, add salt and chillie flakes and finely chopped garlic to give it a flavor.
    • Make a think corn flour slurry by mixing water into corn flour / corn starch / arralot.
    • Now dip cheese balls in the slurry and roll in flavorful breadcrumbs so that you get coating.
    • You can repeat the process twice if you want extra crunch on top.
    • Now place the cheese balls in fridge for 15 min before cooking on appam pan.
    • In an appam pan drizzle few drops of oil; this should be at low to medium flame.
    • Place cheese balls in appam pan and Cook these on medium flame on appam pan.
    • Now drizze few drops of oil on the top of each cheese balls
      and gently turn them so that you get cooking done on all sides.
    • Cheese balls are ready; now have cheese balls in a much healthier way then before.
