Palak ki bhi season hai .. Bajri ka atta bhi ghar pe tha… Immunity booster ki bhi zaroorat thi.. aur ghar mein white wala makkhan bhi tha.. so couldn’t stop myself from making these beautiful Palak Bajra Chilla.

  1. Method

    • In a mixing bowl, take 1 bunch finely chopped Spinach (Palak)
    • Add 1 finely chopped small Onion
    • Add finely chopped Carrot
    • Add 1 finely chopped small Ginger Knob
    • Add finely chopped Green Chillies (as per taste)
    • Add 2 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
    • Add 2 tsp White Sesame Seeds (Safed Til)
    • Now add dry spices
    • Add some Turmeric Powder, Coriander (Dhaniya) Powder & Red Chilli Powder
    • Add Salt as per taste
    • Add 2 tbs Kasuri Methi
    • Combine everything together
    • Add 1/2 cup Pearl Millet Flour (Bajre ka atta)
    • Add 1/4 cup Gram Flour (Besan for binding)
    • Mix it by adding approx 3 tbs Water gradually
    • Consistency of the batter should be thick
    • Heat a non stick pan, add a drop of Oil and wipe out with tissue paper
    • Now pour the batter to make 2-3 small sized chillas
    • Drizzle some Oil on it and flip over when the chilla turns dry from top
    • Flip again and cook until it turns golden-brown from both the sides
    • (Make more chillas with the same procedure)
    • Serve Super Healthy and Delicious Palak Bajra Chilla with Curd, Chutney or Ketchup!!!
