    Palak Corn Cheese Paratha / Palak Paratha Recipe:

    Recipe Make the most of the remaining few days of Winter. Eat more and more spinach. This recipe you could give to fussy kids as well.

    Palak Corn Cheese Paratha Recipe

    Ingredients

    My Secrets

    • 1.5 cup wheat flour
    • Salt as per taste
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera). 
    • 1 cup finely chopped spinach.
    • 1 tsp oil/ ghee + some oil to roast.
    • 1/2 cup parboiled chopped sweet corn.
    • 2 shredded cheese cubes (paneer is optional).
    • Some finely chopped garlic.
    • Finely chopped green chillies (as per taste).
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric (haldi) powder.
    • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder (optional).

    Method

    How to make?

    To Kneed Dough :

    • Take a mixing bowl, add 1.5 cup wheat flour.
    • Add salt as per taste.
    • Add 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
      (you can also add ajwain).
    • Add 1 cup finely chopped spinach (palak – methi is optional).
    • Add 1 tsp oil/ghee, mix it well and kneed hard dough.
    • Apply some oil on it and rest for 10-15 mins

    To Make Stuffing :

    • Take a mixing bowl, add 1/2 cup parboiled chopped sweet corn
      (Add corns in boiling water and remove it out of water after 1.5 mins, place it on a tissue to absorb water).
    • Add 2 shredded cheese cubes (paneer is optional).
    • Add some finely chopped garlic.
    • Add finely chopped green chillies (as per taste).
    • Add 1/2 tsp turmeric (haldi) powder.
    • Add 1/2 tsp red chilli powder (optional)
      Add salt as per taste and mix it well

    Further roll out some balls from this dough and flatten it with the help of rolling pin and board.
    (Apply some dry flour if required)

    • Add approx 1 tbs stuffing in the middle of the roti, cover the stuffing with corners and keep rolling it by applying some dry flour (make thick paratha).
    • Now heat up the pan, place paratha on it and dry roast from both the sides.
    • Drizzle some oil/ ghee/ butter on it and cook until it turns golden-brown from both the sides.
      (Make more parathas following the same procedure).
    • And then enjoy your Yummiest & Appetizing Palak Corn & Cheese Paratha with green chutney or dahi!!!
