  1. Method

    • Take a mixing bowl, add 2 cup finely chopped Spinach (Palak)
    • Add 1/2 cup finely chopped Coriander
    • Add finely chopped Green Chillies (as per taste)
    • Add 5-6 finely chopped Garlic Cloves
    • Add 1 small piece of finely chopped Ginger Knob
    • Add Salt as per taste
    • Add 2 tsp Coriander (Dhaniya) Powder
    • Add 1 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
    • Add a pinch of Asafoetida Powder
    • Add 1 Lemon Juice
    • Add 3 tsp Sugar (optional)
    • Add 2 tbs Oil
    • Mix it and add 1 cup Wheat Flour (Gehu ka Atta)
    • Add 1/4 cup Bajre ka Atta
    • Add 1/4 cup Gram Flour (Besan)
    • Add Water as required and combine everything together to make a dough
    • Further apply some Oil on your palms, take some mixture and make cylindrical shape rolls
    • Take a strainer, brush some Oil inside and arrange the rolls on it
    • Now heat the steamer, add Water and bring it to a boil
    • Place strainer on it, cover the lid and cook for 25 minutes on medium heat
    • (Now put a knife inside to check muthia is cooked, if the knife comes out clean then it's ready)
    • Cut the rolls into pieces
    • Further for tempering heat up the pan
    • Add 2 tbs Oil
    • Add 2 tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai)
    • Add 3 tsp White Sesame Seeds (Safed Til)
    • Add a pinch of Asafoetida Powder (Hing)
    • Add few Curry Leaves
    • Add cut muthia, gently mix it and roast for a while
    • Garnish with some fresh Coriander
    • Enjoy your Healthy & Scrumptious Palak Muthia
