    Biryani is one of my favourite dishes. I just can’t get over it. Today, I’m preparing delicious Paneer Biryani from Daawat Biryani Basmati. Here’s my suggestion – Use only the finest Basmati grains and authentic spices for that irresistible biryani. Yum!

    Paneer Biryani Cooking Process

    Ingredients

    Recipe's Secrets

    • 1.5 cup Daawat Biryani Basmati Rice.
    • 1.5 tsp ghee
      Whole spices (2-3 bay leaves – tej patta, 2-3 cloves – laung, 2-3 cinnamon sticks – dalchini, 1 star anise – chakra phool, 2 cardamom – elaichi, javitri – mace).
    • Onion slices.
    • Oil (for frying onion).
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds/ black cumin seeds.
    • 1 finely chopped onion.
    • Salt as per taste
    • 3-4 chopped garlic cloves.
    • 2 fresh green chillies.
    • 3 finely chopped tomatoes.
    • 8-10 chopped cashews.
    • 1 tsp melon seeds.
    • 1 tsp coriander powder.
    • 1.5 tsp red chilli powder.
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
    • 1.5 tsp biryani masala.
    • 2 tbs curd (dahi).
    • Some kasuri methi.
    • Some chopped colourful bell peppers.
    • 250 gm paneer.
    • Some finely chopped coriander.
    • Some mint leaves.
    • Saffron milk (take a cup of look warm milk and add saffron threads in it).

    Method

    How to cook?

    To Cook Daawat Biryani Basmati Rice :

    • Heat up the pan, pour some water and add 1.5 cup Daawat Biryani Basmati Rice (rinse well with water).
    • Add salt as per taste.
    • Add 1/2 tsp ghee in it.
    • Add some whole spices (2-3 bay leaves – tej patta, 2-3 cloves – laung, 2-3 cinnamon sticks – dalchini, 1 star anise – chakra phool, 2 cardamom – elaichi, javitri – mace) cover the lid and leave for cooking. (Do not overcook the rice).
    • Further take rice in a food strainer to remove water from it.

    Heat up another pan, pour oil it it and fry some sliced onions.

    To Make Paneer Gravy :

    • Heat up the same pan of fried onions, add 1 tsp ghee (along with remaining 1 tbs oil) in it.
    • Add 1 tsp cumin seeds/ black cumin seeds.
    • Add 1 finely chopped onion.
    • Add salt as per taste.
    • Add 3-4 chopped garlic cloves.
    • Add 2 fresh green chillies.
    • Add 3 finely chopped tomatoes, cover the lid and cook until it becomes soft.
    • Then add 8-10 chopped cashews.
    • Add 1 tsp pumpkin seeds.
    • Add 1 tsp coriander powder.
    • Add 1.5 tsp red chilli powder.
    • Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
    • Add 1.5 tsp biryani masala, mix it well and turn off the stove. (Rest the mixture for a while and bring it to the room temperature.)
    • Then grind it in mixer and make a thick paste).
    • Again heat up the same pan, add paste in it along with 2-3 spoon water.
    • Add 2 tbs curd (dahi).
    • Add some kasuri methi.
    • Add some chopped colourful bell peppers.
    • Add 250 gm paneer (cut into cubes), mix it well and turn off the stove.
    • Take a big bowl, add cooked rice and add a layer of paneer gravy on it.
    • Add some fried onions and finely chopped coriander on it.
    • Add another layer of rice, drizzle some saffron milk on it (take a cup of look warm milk and add saffron threads in it).
    • Again add paneer gravy, fried onions, mint leaves and chopped coriander on it.
    • Finally add some more Basmati rice, safron milk, some fried onions , mint leaves and some cashews on top.
    • So here’s your Fragranceful & Flavoursome Paneer Biryani made with Daawat Biryani Basmati Rice ready!!!
