This is the easiest paneer recipe you’ll come across with the simplly special layered paratha with coriander leaves flavor; it’s a wonderful combination; your family will ask for it again and again and again.

How to make Paneer Sabzi with layered Paratha?

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp + 1.5 tbs + more Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 4-5 finely chopped Garlic Cloves
  • 1 finely chopped small Ginger Knob
  • Finely chopped Green Chillies (as per taste)
  • 1 medium sized Onion, cut into big pieces
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 finely chopped Capcicum (Shimla Mirch)
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • Red Chilli Powder (as per taste)
  • 3 Tomato Puree
  • 200 gm Paneer, cut into small cubes + 1 small piece of grated Paneer
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • Handful of finely chopped Coriander
  • 1 cup Wheat Flour (Gehu ka Atta)
  • 1 cup Plain Flour (Maida)
  • Water (to knead dough)
  • Dry Flour (to roll paratha).

Method

How to make?

To Make Paneer Sabji:-

  • Heat up the pan, add 2 tsp Oil
  • Add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • Add 4-5 finely chopped Garlic Cloves
  • Add 1 finely chopped small Ginger Knob
  • Add finely chopped Green Chillies (as per taste)
  • Add 1 medium sized Onion, cut into big pieces
  • Add Salt as per taste
  • Add 1/2 finely chopped Capcicum (Shimla Mirch)
  • Saute and add 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • Add 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • Add Red Chilli Powder (as per taste)
  • Saute on medium flame for 5 min
  • Add 3 Tomato Puree
  • Cover the lid and cook until veggies are soft
  • Add 200 gm Paneer, cut into small cubes
  • Add a small piece of grated Paneer (for thickness)
  • Further add 1/4 cup Milk and keep the flame slow
  • Mix it well and add finely chopped Coriander in the end

To Make Layered Paratha:-

  • Take a mixing bowl, add 1 cup Wheat Flour (Gehu ka Atta)
  • Add 1 cup Plain Flour (Maida or use 2 cup Wheat Flour if you want to avoid using Maida)
  • Add Salt as per taste
  • Add 1.5 tbs Oil
  • By adding Water gradually, knead a soft dough
  • Apply some Oil on dough and rest for a while
  • Roll a dough ball into Dry Flour
  • Take it on the kitchen platform
  • Roll thin with the help of rolling pin
  • Spread some Oil on flattened dough
  • Sprinkle some
  • Coriander and Dry Flour on it
  • Hold and lift the sides of paratha upwards and place it in the middle covering all sides
    (To give it a square shape)
  • Slightly roll further
  • Heat the pan and place paratha on it
  • Drizzle some Oil/ Ghee/ Butter
  • Roast well until both the sides are golden-brown
    (Make more parathas with same procedure)
