How to make Paneer Tikka Wrap ?

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs Thick Curd (Dahi)
  • 2 tbs + 4 tsp Oil
  • 2 tsp Roasted Gram Flour (Bhuna hua besan)
  • 1.5 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • Pinch of Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1 tsp Amchur Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder (Jeera Powder)
  • 1 tsp Chaat Masala
  • 1.5 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 small piece of finely chopped Ginger
  • 3 finely chopped Garlic Cloves
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/2 Lemon Juice
  • 2 tsp Kasuri Methi
  • 200 gm Paneer, cut into thick strips
  • 1 cup Plain Flour (Maida)
  • 1/2 cup Wheat Flour (Gehu ka atta)
  • 1/2 tsp Black Sesame Seeds (Kale Til)
  • Water (to knead dough)
  • Bell Peppers, cut into slices
  • 1 Onion cut into slices
  • Green Chutney
    Mayonnaise
    Salad Leaves
  • Some sliced Tomatoes.

Method

How to make?

To Marinate Paneer:-

  • Take 2 tbs Thick Curd (Dahi) in a mixing bowl
  • Add 1 tbs Oil
  • Add 2 tsp Roasted Gram Flour (Bhuna hua besan)
  • Mix it well and add below spices
  • 1.5 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • Pinch of Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1 tsp Amchur Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin (Jeera) Powder
  • 1 tsp Chaat Masala
  • 1.5 tsp Garam Masala
  • Add a small piece of finely chopped Ginger
  • Add 3 finely chopped Garlic Cloves
    (Alternatively ginger-garlic paste can be used)
  • Add Salt as per taste
  • Add 1/2 Lemon Juice
  • Add 2 tsp Kasuri Methi and mix everything well
    Marinate 200 gm Paneer, cut into thick strips

To Make Tortillas:-

  • Take a mixing bowl, add 1 cup Plain Flour (Maida)
  • Add 1/2 cup Wheat Flour (Gehu ka atta)
  • Add 1/2 tsp Black Sesame Seeds (Kale Til)
  • Salt as per taste
  • Add 1 tbs Oil
  • Add Water as required and knead a soft dough
  • Apply some oil and rest the dough for 15 min
  • Further roll out few balls from the dough prepared
  • Dip into dry flour and flatten with the help of rolling pin
    (should be thicker than the usual roti size)
  • Now heat the pan, place roti and drizzle some oil
  • Roast until it’s slightly golden-brown from both sides

To Fry Vegetables:-

  • Heat 2 tsp Oil in pan
  • Saute Bell Peppers, cut into slices and transfer in a plate
  • Saute 1 Onion, cut into slices and transfer in a plate
  • Add 2 tsp Oil in the same pan
  • Fry marinated paneer in it

To Assemble Paneer Wrap:-

  • Take a roti, spread some Green Chutney & Mayonnaise on it
  • Add Salad Leaves, fried Paneer, Bell Peppers, Onions & some sliced Tomatoes
    Sprinkle Chaat Masala
  • Fold this wrap and cover with the help of toothpick
    (Make more wraps with the same procedure)
  • Rost it on pan for a minute and serve hot
