How to make Pav Bhaji Recipe ?

Ingredients

  • 2 medium sized chopped potatoes.
  • Some chopped cauliflower.
  • Some chopped carrot.
  • 1/2 cup green peas.
  • Salt as per taste.
  • Water.
  • Oil.
  • 1 tbs butter.
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera).
  • 1 medium sized finely chopped capsicum.
  • 1 medium sized finely chopped onion.
  • 3-4 finely chopped garlic cloves.
  • 2 finely chopped green chillies.
  • 2 tsp SLM Pav Bhaji Masala.
  • 1.5 tsp SLM.
  • Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder.
  • 3-4 medium sized tomato puree.
  • Some finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • To toast Pav : some SLM Pav Bhaji Masala, butter & coriander.

Method

How to make Process...

  • Heat up the pressure cooker to boil veggies.
  • Add 2 medium sized chopped potatoes.
  • Add some chopped cauliflower.
  • Add some chopped carrot.
  • Add 1/2 cup green peas.
  • Add salt as per taste.
  • Add water, cover the lid and cook up to 3 whistles.
  • Further heat up the pan, add some oil.
  • Add 1 tbs butter.
  • Add 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera).
  • Add 1 medium sized finely chopped capsicum.
  • Add 1 medium sized finely chopped onion.
  • Add 3-4 finely chopped garlic cloves.
  • Add 2 finely chopped green chillies.
  • Add 1 tsp SLM Pav Bhaji Masala on butter.
  • Saute and cook until onion turns softer.
  • Add salt as per taste.
  • Add 1.5 tsp SLM Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder.
  • Keep mixing.
  • Then add 3-4 medium sized tomato puree (or chopped tomatoes).
  • Cook on medium heat for 5-7 min.
  • Now mash boiled veggies and add them to pan
    (you can also add food colour at this step).
  • Add 1 tsp SLM Pav Bhaji Masala.
  • Add some water.
  • Mash all veggies together.
  • Leave for cooking for 10 min on medium heat.
  • Add some finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Further to toast Pav, heat up another pan.
  • Add some butter.
  • Add a pinch of SLM Pav Bhaji Masala.
  • Add some chopped coriander.
  • Place Pav on it and leave them for a while.
  • Take Pav Bhaji on a serving plate with some finely chopped onion and coriander leaves and a small lemon wedge.
