How to make Multi-Purpose Pesto Pasta Sauce?

The world-famous Pesto Sauce comes from Italian cuisine and is made from different nuts; I have added more protein to it by using California Pista. You can use this pesto sauce to make sandwich, wraps, pizza and also pasta. Showing you how Pesto Pasta is made and also you you can store Pesto Sauce for couple of days.

Multi-Purpose Pesto Pasta Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup California Pistachios.
  • 1 sliced garlic clove
  • Salt to taste.
  • Some crushed black pepper (optional).
  • 1/4 cup fresh / packaged.
  • Parmesan Cheese.
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves.
  • 3 tbs + 1-2 tsp olive oil.
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice.
  • Some chopped tomatoes.3
  • 1/2 cup pre-boiled pasta.
  • Water.
  • For garnishing some Parmesan Cheese,
    California Pistachios & basil leaves.

Method

How to make?

  • Take a chopper/ mixer jar.
  • Add 1/2 cup California Pistachios.
  • Add 1 sliced garlic clove.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Add some crushed black pepper (optional).
  • Churn it on pulse mode in mixie.
  • Then add 1/4 cup fresh / packaged Parmesan Cheese in it.
  • Add 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves.
  • Add 3 tbs olive oil.
  • Add 1/2 tsp lemon juice.
  • Grind to the coarse mixture.
  • Pista Pesto Sauce is ready
    (you can store it in a glass jar like pickles by adding olive oil in it; how you would have stored pickle).
  • Now heat up the pan.
  • Add 1-2 tsp olive oil.
  • Add some chopped tomatoes.
  • Add 1/2 cup pre-boiled pasta.
  • Add some water.
  • Add 2 tbs Pista Pesto Sauce.
  • Mix it well and cook for 2 minutes.
  • You can also add some fresh cooking cream (optional).
  • Turn off the heat.
  • And take it on a serving plate.
  • Garnish with some grated Parmesan Cheese,
    California Pistachios & basil leaves.
