Recipe for Pista Lassi in 3 Flavors

How to beat the heat? Every Summer same question, but this time we give it not one, not two but three answers. Presenting 3 types of Lassi using California Pista.

How to make Pista Lassi in 3 Flavors ?

Ingredients

  • Approx 50 gm California Pistachios (blanched – soaked in warm water for 15-20 min).
  • 3-4 tsp sugar as per taste (honey is optional).
  • Some elaichi powder.
  • A big bowl of curd.
  • Some water.
  • Some rose syrup.
  • 2 tbs mango pulp.

Method

How to make?

  • Take a mixer jar, add approx 50 gm California Pistachios (blanched – soaked in warm water for 15-20 min).
  • Add 2 tsp sugar (honey is optional).
  • Churn it and make a thick paste (add some water if required, this paste can be used in pista milk, smoothies, salad dressing, etc).

Further to make Elaichi & Pista Lassi :

  • Take a mixer jar/ grinder/ blender, add some elaichi powder.
  • Add 3-4 big spoon thick curd (dahi).
  • Add 1 tsp sugar.
  • Add approx 2 tsp pista paste.
  • Add some water, churn and make thick lassi and transfer it in a glass.
  • Drizzle some elaichi powder and pistachios on top

To Make Rose & Pista Lassi :

  • Add 3-4 big spoon thick curd (dahi) in the same jar.
  • Add some elaichi powder.
  • Add some rose syrup.
  • Add approx 2 tsp pista paste.
  • Add some water, churn and make thick lassi and transfer it in a glass.
  • Top with some dry rose petals and pistachios.

To Make Pista & Mango Lassi :

  • Add 3-4 big spoon thick curd (dahi) in the same jar.
  • Add 1/2 tsp sugar.
  • Add approx 2 tbs mango pulp
    (use soft ripe mangoes).
  • Add approx 2 tsp pista paste.
  • Add some water, churn and make thick lassi and transfer it in a glass.
  • Top with some mango pulp/ chopped mangoes and pistachios.
  • And then your 3 Flavors of California Pistachios Lassi ready!!!

Points to Remember

  • California Pistachios are high on protein, antioxidants and helps to control blood sugar.
  • Compared to other nuts it’s low on calorie, in one serving (i.e approx 49 pistachios) there’s approx 160 calories
