Pista Protein Laddu Preparation

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dates (soft seedless).
  • 1/2 cup dry roasted sunflower seeds.
  • 1/2 cup dry roasted white sesame seeds.
  • 1/2 cup dry roasted California Pistachios + More finely chopped Pistachios (to coat laddus).
  • Cardamom powder (elaichi for flavor / vanilla essence – optional).

Method

How to make?

  • Churn 1/2 cup dates (soft seedless) in a mixer jar and keep aside in a bowl.
  • Heat up the pan and dry roast nuts :
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds.
  • 1/2 cup white sesame seeds.
  • 1/2 cup California Pistachios.
  • Transfer roasted nuts in a bowl.
  • Let the mixture cool down.
  • Further coarsely grind this mixture in mixie.
  • Take it in a mixing bowl.
  • Add cardamom powder (elaichi for flavor / vanilla essence is optional).
  • Then add dates puree.
  • Mix well with hands and form a ball.
  • Take approx 1 tbs of mixture / ball.
  • Roll with hands giving it a round shape to form laddu
    (Make more laddus with same procedure).
  • Further take some finely chopped.
  • Pistachios in a mixing bowl.
  • Coat freshly rolled laddus in it (optional).
