Homemade Protein Rich Powder

Those who regularly workout would vouch for this but also spend on buying from outside. Now no need, you make the Protein-Rich Powder at home. I have shown 2 flavors Normal and Chocolate. And have also shown how you can make two different types of smoothies using these powders.

How to make Protein Rich Powder ?

Ingredients

Recipe's Secrets

  • 100 gm each (peanuts, daliya/ chana dal, almonds & walnuts).
  • 1.5 tbs each (flax seeds, chia seeds, melon seeds, pumpkin seeds).
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbs instant/ rolled oats.
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened milk powder.
  • 1 tbs cocoa powder.
  • Some water.
  • 4-5 fresh strawberries (or any other fruit).
  • 4 dates (soaked in water)/ honey.
  • Some ice cubes.
  • 1 banana.

Method

How to make?

  • Heat up the pan, add 100 gm each, peanuts and daliya/ chana dal
    (Dry roast until peanuts skin can be peeled off).
  • Dry roast 100 gm each, almonds and walnuts in same pan.
  • Further to dry roast seeds in the same pan, turn it on slow flame.
  • Add 1.5 tbs each (flax seeds, chia seeds, melon seeds, pumpkin seeds).
  • Dry roast for 2 mins until it starts popping.
  • Let all nuts and seeds cool down.
  • Then churn in mixie (on pulse mode) and make a fine powder, transfer the mixture in a bowl.
  • Further churn 1/4 cup instant/ rolled oats, make fine powder and add it in same bowl.
  • Add 1/4 cup unsweetened milk powder and mix it.
  • To make chocolate flavour protein powder, take half mixture in another bowl.
  • Add 1 tbs cocoa powder and mix it well
    (Store these powder in refrigerator for 6-8 months).
  • To make smoothie, take a mixer jar/ juicer.
  • Add some water (milk, soya milk, almond milk & yoghurt is optional).
  • Add 1 tbs oats (for thickness).
  • Add 4-5 fresh strawberries (or any fruits of your choice).
  • Add 2 dates (soaked in water)/ honey.
  • Add 1 big spoon protein powder.
  • Add some ice cubes and grind it to the smooth texture.
  • Take out smoothie in a glass/ jar.
  • Further in same mixer jar make chocolate smoothie.
  • Add 1 banana.
  • Add 1/4 cup water.
  • Add 1 tbs oats.
  • Add 2 dates (soaked in water)/ honey.
  • Add 1.5 spoon protein powder and grind it well to the smooth texture.
  • Take out smoothie in a glass/ jar.
  • So here’s your Healthy, Protein Rich Powder with Delicious Smoothie ready!!!
