Sabudana Bonda | Crispy Sabudana Bonda Banane ki Recipe – क्रिस्पी हलके साबूदाना वडा भी भूल जाएगे

Sabudana Bonda that comes from South India; is not the same as sabudana vada we make during vrat or otherwise. Watch the video carefully as I have explained the differences & tips to make this. And Bonus point; have shown both fried and appe version.

  1. Method

    • In a mixing bowl, take 1 cup Sabudana
    • Wash with water and drain it
    • Add 1/2 cup Curd (Dahi)
    • Add 1/2 cup Water, mix it and soak for 6 hours
    • Further add 1.5 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
    • Add few Curry Leaves, roughly broken
    • Add small bunch of chopped Coriander
    • Add 1 finely chopped medium Onion
    • Add 2 finely chopped Green Chillies
    • Add 1 finely chopped medium Ginger Knob
    • Add crushed Black Pepper
    • Add 5-6 tbs Rice Flour (for binding)
    • Add Salt as per taste and mix it well
    • Add a little Water and mix it with hands
    • Heat Oil in a pan
    • Fry small shape Sabudana Bonda until nice golden-brown
    • To make Sabudana Bonda in healthier way,
    • Heat appe pan, add a very little Oil in all cavities
    • Add Sabudana Bonda in each cavity
    • Flip them and cook both the sides until golden-brown
    • Enjoy Super Delicious Sabudana Bonda with Curd or Chutney
