No Fry Sabudana Aloo Patty Recipe

When you are cooking Sabudana, you need to first soak them right? Wrong. Will show you today how to make the famous Sabudana Aloo Patty. and importantly no need to deep fry it either.

How to make Sabudana Aloo Patty Recipe?

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup raw sago (sabudana).
  • 2-3 shredded boiled potatoes (parboiled).
  • Finely chopped ginger knob.
  • Finely chopped green chillies (as per taste).
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • 1 tsp crushed roasted cumin seeds (jeera).
  • 1 tsp crushed roasted coriander seeds (dhaniya).
  • 1 tsp amchur powder (lemon juice is optional).
  • 1/4 cup crushed roasted peanuts.
  • Salt as per taste.
  • 2 tbs oil.

Method

How to Make?

  • In a mixer jar coarsely grind 1/4 cup raw sago (sabudana).
  • Then take a mixing bowl.
  • Add 2 shredded boiled potatoes (parboiled).
  • Add a finely chopped ginger knob.
  • Add finely chopped green chillies (as per taste).
  • Add 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Add 1 tsp crushed roasted cumin seeds (jeera).
  • Add 1 tsp crushed roasted coriander seeds (dhaniya).
  • Add 1 tsp amchur powder (lemon juice is optional).
  • Add 1/4 cup crushed roasted peanuts.
  • Add salt as per taste.
  • Now add ground sabudana and mix it.
  • Bind everything well with hands.
  • Make small patties giving them a round shape (apply some oil on palms to avoid sticking mixture).
  • Heat up the pan, add 2 tbs oil and spread it.
  • Place all patties on pan.
  • Cook until they turn golden-brown from both the sides.
  • Take them on a serving plate and serve with green chutney.
  • Your Super Delicious Sabudana & Aloo Patty ready!!!
