Stuffed Tomato Grilled Without Oven I Paneer, Aloo and Cheese Filled Grilled Tomatoes

  1. Method

    • To Make Stuffing :
    • Heat up the pan, pour 1 tsp oil
    • Add 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
    • Add a pinch of asafoetida powder (hing)
    • Add some turmeric powder (haldi)
    • Add some finely chopped garlic cloves
    • Add finely chopped green chillies (as per taste)
    • Add some finely chopped spring/dry onion
    • Add salt as per taste and mix it
    • Now add 2 small sized boiled chopped potatoes
    • Add 50 gm paneer (optional) and mix it well
    • Add some roasted crushed peanuts (for crunch)
    • Add some chopped coriander leaves, mix it and your stuffing is ready
    • (Bring it to the room temperature)
    • Further take 4 underripe tomatoes (cut in half and remove seeds from it)
    • Fill stuffing in tomatoes and cover with some bread crumbs
    • To grill tomatoes turn on the stove, pour some oil in pan
    • Let the pan heat for few mins, then place all stuffed tomatoes in it
    • (Keep bread crumbs side down)
    • Flip when it turns golden-brown
    • Then add some shredded cheese on each stuffed tomato and cover the lid for 5 mins
    • (To cook in oven, turn the grill mode on high temp i.e 220⁰ and bake it for approx 20-25 mins)
    • Take all tomatoes on a serving plate and top with some coriander leaves.
